Today I passed by a marquee that read, "Spring is God's way of saying He loves us."

I had to politely disagree with that statement.

God doesn't pick just one time of the year to say He loves us.

God says He loves us each time He wakes us up in the morning.
God says He loves us when He protects us from dangers; seen and unseen.
God says He loves us each time He gives us grace, mercy, and a chance to straighten up when we mess up.
God says He loves us when He makes a way out of no way.
God says He loves us when all others leave us and He stays right by our side no matter what.

There are so many other ways He says He loves us; there wouldn't be enough time in the world to list them all.

So, sorry marquee putter upper person, but God says He loves us all the time.
Not just during springtime.

The question is, when he says it, do we bother to pay attention?
