Whether
we choose to admit it or not as human beings we thrive off of validation from
others. We fear how others will treat us if we speak what’s really on our
minds. It bothers us if we feel others will treat us differently for being
honest about our feelings. We have to get out of this mode of thinking. If we
go through life always trying to be people pleasers, we’ll be forever
miserable. With God on our side, it’s possible to get away from this. If we
ask, He will give us the boldness we need to say what’s on our hearts without
fear of the aftermath.
