Ask the average person where they want to go when they die, you'll almost always get "Heaven" as a reply.
And who wouldn't want to make Heaven their home when they leave this world behind?
No more tears.
No more sorrow.
Happiness and joy.
Life eternally with God and Jesus.
Sure, we all want that but the way many of us live tells a different story.
We can't do what we want down here and expect to go to Heaven when we close our eyes. We have to live how God would have us live, deprive ourselves of worldly pleasure, and focus on the big picture: saving our souls.
Besides, wouldn't you rather miss out on the world's fun if it means you can live in peace for eternity?
II Peter 3:14 -> Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless
