FORGIVE:
To release or set free of obligation.
To detach or separate from a situation or condition.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's Sake hath forgiven you.

SATANIC LIE:
If you forgive people they will think that they can do anything to you and get away with it.
You're a fool if you let this go.
The best thing to do is wait for an opportunity to get back at them so that they feel the pain you felt.
THE TRUTH
I will release others of the pain they have caused me.
I know that when I free them...I free myself.
I will do this because God has and is releasing me.
If I want forgiveness, I will give forgiveness, leaving vengeance to God.
Challenges to be overcome:
Forfeiting entitlement
Leaving vengeance to God
Not being adversely changed by the offense
