As long as we live we're going to go through things. Not because we've done anything wrong and we're reaping the consequences of our actions, but because we are destined to go through trials. Many times we'll go through things and it's not even for us; it's so others can see the Lord work through us and in the end He can get the glory.

 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
