One day Satan and his legion of angels were having a meeting in Hell.
“We have to come up with a way to keep people from obeying the gospel. What can we do to cause people to lose their souls and be tormented for eternity?” Satan looked around. “The floor is open for suggestions.”
“How about telling people there’s no heaven?” One demon spoke up. “If people feel there’s nothing to strive for, they won’t worry about obeying the gospel.”
“No, that won’t work,” Satan shook his head. “We’ll never get everyone to believe that.”
“How about telling people there’s no hell?” Another demon replied. “If people feel that they can live however they like, with no repercussions in the end, they won’t worry about obeying the gospel.”
“No, that won’t work either,” Satan shook his head once more. “We’ll never get everyone to believe that."
“I’ve got it!” The final demon exclaimed. “All we have to do is tell people to wait. If we tell people they have time to obey the gospel, they won’t be in such a rush!”
“Wonderful idea!” Satan cheered. “People will be so busy living wrecklessly they’ll continue to put off obeying the gospel; then they’ll die in their sins and belong to me! Brilliant!”

Have Satan and his angels put a bug in your ear and caused you to think you have time to “get your life right”?
Have they made you believe that it’s okay to do what you want now ‘cause you’re young and you can focus on obeying the gospel and living for God once you’re older?
If so, STOP!
Don’t allow Satan and his goons to feed you lies and send you on a one way trip to a place where you’ll be in torment forever and ever.
Listen to God. Obey His word. Be baptized for the remission for your sins. Have a shot at spending eternity with Him.
Praising His holy name throughout endless age.
Doesn’t that sound way better than spending eternity in a hot, sweaty, torture chamber with Satan and his knuckleheads?
