Be Prepared.

Matthew 24:48-51
But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of.
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:1-13
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took n.o oil with them:
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

In lemens terms, we don't know when Christ is coming back so we have to be ready at all times.
The devil makes us believe that we have all the time in the world to get our lives together, so for the time being we can just live it up and do as we please and not worry about anything.
This is not so.
The devil wants you to have an all out good time and mess your lives up while you're here. What he doesn't tell you, once you're done with that partying lifestyle and running yourself ragged living in sin, when your life is over if you haven't done what you were supposed to, your soul will belong to him.
After living in a sinful world, dealing with pain and strife, why would you wanna die and continue to be tormented for all eternity?
Wouldn't you rather your soul live in peace for endless ages?
When Christ comes, wouldn't you want to be doing the right thing, and living your life as He would have you to, than to be caught shaking in a club or doing something you have n.o business to elsewhere?
He's coming like a thief in the night.
No man knows the day or the hour when He shall appear.
And we have to be ready at all times.
We don't want to be like the foolish virgins who were not prepared
and were left out of the house when the bridegroom arrived.
When Christ comes, He's coming to take those that are prepared
to leave with Him.
And if you don't have yourself together,
there will be n.o second chances.
Now's the time to get yourself right while you have breath in your body,
you're fully capable of making rational decisions
and the blood is running warm in your veins.
Turn your life over to Him, and let Him do the rest.
He died for you, won't you live for Him?

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Hear the Gospel. "How shall they call on him whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" (Romans 10:14).

Believe. "And without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him" (Hebrews 11:6).

Repent of past sins. "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent" (Acts 17:30).

Confess Jesus as Lord. "Behold here is water; What doth hinder me to be baptized ? And Philip said, if thou believeth with all thy heart thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (Acts 8:36-37).

Be baptized for the remission of sins. "And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38).

Live a Christian life. "Ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9).
